2011: The highlights
Heartbreak and renewal. Three days of the Purple One. Courtside home team cheering. Dance Music Sex Romance. Got an upgrade. Photographed you in Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle. Wrote a lot of words. Got paid for them. Found new friends, found courage to leave others, found strength in old ones. Felt fabulous. Partied on a boat in SF, a rooftop in San Diego, at an arcade in Seattle, on top of a bus in Vegas, on a lit-up dance floor in NY and on a hot sunny day in LA. Had my ears filled with good music, my stomach with good food, my heart with love and my face with smiles. Between all that? A few tears, sure, but more laughter than I could have possibly hoped for.
